We the People. We are the reservoir of strength and power that's going to let us save ourselves. We can watch Marvel movies as much as we want. No one else is coming to save us.
The help and support We give each other. The tide of fascism is rising in the USA, and we all have to do what we can to help us all make it to higher ground. Mutual aid for the win.
"[It] Is always the same; we should be careful Of each other, we should be kind While there is still time." -Barry Larkin (1979 -The Mower*)
If we're going to do things right, then we have to make sure Everybody's Going to Make it This Time
The sooner the better
So that We the People can Let America Be America Again- Langston Hughes (1935)*
By doing what We can, as We can. This time, with books not bombs.
In the battle against Fascism in the 1930s/1940s, the industrial might of the United States of America let us aid our allies with the arms and munitions they needed to wage war. This made the USA the Arsenal of Democracy.
Modern times call for modern measures. We live in a knowledge and service based economy now (a 100% tariff on the truth costs nothing). Knowledge, information, and ideas are the new necessaries in the ongoing fight against fascist Oligarchy.
Let's arm our minds, join the fight, and spread the, literal, word of Freedom as the New Arsenal of Democracy.
The new battle against Fascism (in the 2020s) is (and needs) to be a non-violent movement of the People rising up to assert that the consent of the governed is the underpinning of Civil Society and that the Constitution is the contract amongst the People to form and legitimate a government of, by, and for themselves.
An educated Body Politick (if they could go crazy with random spelling and capitalization in the 1700's, I'm not about to hold back on grammar's sake when the Rule of Law itself has stopped applying, sorry, not sorry) is a pre-requisite for a functioning Democratic Republic.

*If from these two references you infer that the page author is a fan of Roger Bennett, that big, beautiful, bald, naturalized man in a blazer, then yes, you're correct. His "Reborn in the USA: An Englishman's Love Letter to His Chosen Home" will remind you why we all love this country. If, through some miracle of internet connection you see this and send an email, Rog, first, I'll be as giddy as that school kid who got a video message from Big Dunc, and second I will add your book to the New Arsenal of Democracy book registry immediately (it's current status is pending, there's a bit of a queue). We Evertonians are one big family, aren't we? As are humans.
